WE Have the distinct pleasure to introduce Crystal Creations by Jean Hartwig. Born in Baccarat, France, capital of the crystal in europe, Jean Hartwig is Finalist National of France and recipient of gold medals for his outstanding workmanship. He founded his glass studio in 1967  wenn he are 18 years old.His creations are executed entirely by hand in his'atelier' in the heart of France near the Loire river( the valley of the kings).Proof of this lies in this artisan's signature ON EACH PIECE,following a family tradition of over 300 years.

 THE FAMILY HAS HIS ORIGIN  IN THE DEEP FOREST OF BOHEMIA . BUT IN THE GLASSWORKER TRADITION , ALL THE MEMBERS  TRAVEL ARROUND EUROPE : czechoslovakia, austria, germany AND FINALY JUST AFTHER THE SECOND WAR, FOR ESCAPE FROM THE COMMUNISM OPPRESSION AND ON request of  Baccarat GENERAL manager, TO SETTLE IN FRANCE.
